After an Army career that began with graduation in 1980 with a BS in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Rivers earned a MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. Eddie also obtained his Masters of Jurisprudence Degree at Indiana University in 2017. He brings experience gleaned from over 25 years of corporate leadership for billion-dollar revenue companies. As Co-Founder and President of both Rivers Resources and Esource Resources, Eddie aggressively oversees all aspects of each company’s efforts to build a culturally diverse and successful business.

In addition to his acumen for business, Eddie’s true passion is in mentoring America’s youth. A few examples include his thirty-year commitment to assisting Youth in pursuing admission to his alma mater, West Point; serving as a mentor to the Indianapolis Colts; serving as a Board member on the Hamilton County Community Foundation (as secretary and as an active member on the OEI (Opportunity, Equity and Inclusion), Grants and Executive committees; serving on the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities and as a dedicated member of his Rotary and Exchange Clubs in Indiana. Eddie is married to his amazing wife Jen, and they have been blessed with three awesome children and (so far) one beautiful granddaughter.
